Movement
Movement blocks control how agents move around in the 3D simulation environment. These blocks are essential for creating dynamic simulations where agents can navigate, follow paths, and interact spatially.
Overview
Movement blocks allow agents to change their position, orientation, and velocity in the 3D world. They enable agents to move in straight lines, turn and rotate, change elevation, and teleport to different locations in your StarLogo Nova simulations.
Block Categories
Linear Movement
- Forward - Moves the agent forward in its current direction
- Backwards - Moves the agent backward from its current direction
Rotation
- Left By Degs - Turns the agent left by a specified number of degrees
- Right By Degs - Turns the agent right by a specified number of degrees
Vertical Movement
- Up - Moves the agent upward (increases z-coordinate)
- Down - Moves the agent downward (decreases z-coordinate)
Directional Control
- Face Towards - Makes the agent face toward a specific target or location
Teleportation
- Teleport To - Instantly moves the agent to a specified location
