Description
The Glow With Intensity block makes an agent start glowing with the agent's color and an intensity equal to the input. This is a code block part of the Traits drawer.
Usage
Use Glow With Intensity to create visual effects like bioluminescence, highlighting important agents, or simulating light-emitting objects. The glow effect uses the agent's current color and can be adjusted for different brightness levels.
Syntax
Input:
- A number (the intensity value from 0 to 10)
Example
In this model of a forest environment, when Nighttime is toggled, fireflies appear and start to glow with an intensity of 1.
Notes
- The glow effect will not be noticeable for black agents
- Higher intensity values create brighter glows
- The glow color matches the agent's current color
- Glow effects are visible in 3D view
