Stop Glowing

Stops the agent from glowing.

Description

The Stop Glowing block stops the agent from glowing. This is a code block part of the Traits drawer.

Usage

Use Stop Glowing to turn off glow effects on agents. This is useful for creating blinking effects, day/night cycles where creatures stop glowing during daylight, or removing visual indicators after certain conditions are met.

Syntax

This block has no inputs - it simply stops any active glow effect on the agent.

Example

While Nighttime is toggled, with each engine tick, the fireflies will have a 5% chance of flashing off and then back on.

Notes

  • Only affects agents that are currently glowing
  • Has no effect on agents that aren't glowing
  • The agent returns to its normal appearance without glow
  • Useful for creating blinking or pulsing effects when combined with Glow with Intensity
